What do you love about working out at FIT RxN?
Every class is a new challenge and welcomes a new opportunity for us to push ourselves out of our comfort zone.
Do you have specific fitness goals? Have they changed at all?
Brenton: When I first started my main goal due to back issues was to strengthen my core. 8 months later, my next goal is to finish the NYC marathon with a new PR.
Lindsay: Initially, I wanted to do 5 push-ups. Now my goal is to bench press Brenton.
What’s it like taking classes together?
We love taking classes together, it’s very motivating. We can look to the other for a push to keep going or to laugh at the next crazy thing Mr. Ray is going to make us do.
Are you (or your friends) noticing any changes in yourself since you started taking classes?
Both of us feel way stronger and confident that we can tackle new challenges in class each day.
What is your proudest moment so far in a class at FIT RxN?
Brenton: Any time I was hurting after a late night and still woke up and crushed the 7am Smoker. #MindOverMatter.
Lindsay: Getting through a set of TRX planks and pikes without resting.
What’s the next thing you’d like to accomplish at FIT RxN?
Brenton: I’d like to continue adding mobility and upper body strength.
What is your favorite class at FIT RxN?
The Smoker. Always and forever.
